A Letter to the Depressed

Lately I’ve been disturbed thinking about the fact that someone out there isn’t far fetched from a rope, a large body of water, a jar of unwanted capsules… A knife, a bottle of sniper.

Wait! Listen, I know you’re hearing voices in your head telling you “all you need is a little push and your life is over… Drink it now! Stab yourself! Slit your throat and end the pain!” Let me be the other voice in your head telling you to drop that knife, take steps backward from that sea… Oh, and you might also want to get rid of that jar and replace the Sniper with a bottle of water.

I know, you’re about to ask why you should listen to me… A total stranger. Well, this stranger wants to be your inspiration to be a better person in life. I know someone who has inspired me thus far; given me peace like no other. I spoke to him about you and he says he’ll like to hold your hands and help you walk through life.

He told me to write this letter, saying that he knows someone that needs to read it. I hope you get to read this.

Regards.

Black Bird.
