Finding your path

I had a pen and a paper, but no ideas dropped in my head so the pen and paper was useless.

I had a drum in front of me, and drum sticks in my hand, but no inspiration.

I had a microphone in my hand, instrumentals playing, but no words came out from my mouth.

I had a needle in my hand, thread in the other, but I just couldn’t thread the needle.

I had a tape rule and a book but I just couldn’t understand how I was to measure Sandra and sew the dress she wanted.

I was staring at James’ portrait… I knew I felt like I could draw him on my sketch pad, but my hands weren’t just coordinated.

My sister made me love photography, but I never really understood how to use a camera… Or I just never took it serious.

Can I ever be productive in life?

The answer is YES, because everyone is gifted with a unique talent. So the fact that you cannot “thread a needle“, “use a camera“, doesn’t mean you cannot save lives if you choose to speak to an audience, train people on how to make right decisions, the list goes on.

My point is, everyone has a unique selling point, you just need to take out time to find yours.

Happy Sunday.
