So I’m sitting outside, staring at this door and wondering whether to take a bold step to knock. It didn’t seem like just an ordinary door.. It had patches, the handle was rusted, the key hole was dented badly. I didn’t know how to knock because I wasn’t sure I was supposed to..

Now, this door was literally abandoned, but I was so eager to see what was lurking beyond the door. Not because I totally needed to, but because I sincerely just wanted to satisfy my curiosity.

Everyone else kept passing this door without portraying the same level of curiosity; but not me… I was different, to me it felt like I needed to find out something… Something no one else really had the patience to find out.

I summoned the courage to reach out for the doorknob and what hit me almost brought me to tears and I realized that no book should ever be judged by its cover… Let me rephrase… No one should ever be judged because of their flaws, scars or imperfections.

If you’ve got such a “door” it’s okay to knock and feed your eyes with the beauty that lies beyond.
