A New Normal

We are tired of tiptoeing amidst innocent dead bodies, we are tired of having to look over our shoulders because we do not know where the next bullet is going to come from.

We have been buried in cowardice for so long and it is now time for us to speak up… or to ‘Soro Soke’…as my favorite generation would call it.

No, don’t get it wrong, we aren’t just fighting to end SARS, we are fighting for unity, peace, happiness, and the revival of our nation.

Now it goes beyond religion, tribe, gender, and what have you. We fight as one big family, lending a shoulder to lean on and providing food and water for those who haven’t been privileged to get access to these because of bad governance.

We are a force, one backed by God, and won’t be stopped, not now, not ever.

Yes, we are ready to become the leaders of tomorrow, since the ones we looked up to have failed us.

We will fight till it\’s done.
